Social Club Seltzer draws inspiration from classic cocktails

A new line of beverages is joining the Anheuser-Busch family.

The company has rolled out Social Club Seltzer. Inspired by popular cocktails, each beverage contains 150 calories per 12-oz. can.

“With the growth of the hard seltzer industry comes consumers looking for new offerings that fit different occasions, so we are excited to introduce a new premium hard seltzer cocktail for fans to enjoy,” Lana Kouznetsov, VP of Beyond Beer at Anheuser-Busch said. “Inspired by the flavors of classic cocktails and combined with the refreshment of a seltzer, Social Club appeals to cocktail lovers who are looking for the flavors they love but in a more sessionable format.”

Featuring a seltzer format with 7% ABV, Social Club Seltzer’s current offerings include:

  • Old Fashioned, a new take on the classic whiskey cocktail that contains flavors of blood orange, warm spice and a hint of smoky oak;
  • Sidecar, which features stone fruit flavors balanced with fresh lemon notes; and
  • Citrus Gimlet, which contains a blend of citrus flavor and juniper.

Sold in variety flavor packs of 12 and individual flavor packs of 6, Social Club Seltzer’s offerings will be available at large format and independent retailers throughout May.
