Target’s beauty aisle undergoes changes

Target’s beauty aisle is undergoing a slight change.

The retailer is focusing on adding diverse, innovative, sustainable and affordable brands to its shelves.

Currently, 30 new brands have arrived on its shelves, including its previously announced collaboration with Function of Beauty, Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Anomaly hair care line, as well as BeLoved, Golde, BYBI and HeyHumans.

Categories Target is focused on expanding include skin care and cosmetics for a wider range of skin tones and inclusive products for textured hair care, the company said.

Also included in its beauty aisle revamp are east-to-read icons that help shoppers identify what exactly they can expect from a brand or bottle, as well as new icons that include Black-owned and women-owned.
