Wellnesse rolls outs all-natural shampoo, conditioner

Wellnesse’s portfolio of personal care products is expanding.

The brand, founded by podcaster Katie Wells, is adding an all-natural shampoo and conditioner to its lineup.

“For most of my life, I thought my hair hated me. It was determined to be dry and oily at the same time. It never curled when I wanted it to curl or stayed silky when I tried to wear it straight,” said Wells, who co-founded the company alongside her husband Seth Spears. “Then, I learned many products strip away the natural components that make hair strong and silky, leaving your hair dependent on them. I researched like crazy and started making my own shampoo using herbs, beneficial oils and soothing ingredients provided what my hair actually needed.”

Made with an EWG safe ingredients formula that feeds hair, the Cleansing Shampoo and Nourishing Conditioner contain such ingredients as nettle, shea and argan to help hair stay thick, strong and shiny, the company said.

In addition, the brand also has launched a glycerin-free, fluoride-free and eco-friendly toothpaste that is available in a Fresh Mint flavor, and uses calcium carbonate, peppermint, stevia leaf, and green tea leaf extract as ingredients.
