About-face unveils holiday collection
About-face is dropping not one, but two limited-edition kits.
The Los Angeles-based beauty brand, founded by singer Halsey, recently shared its two new holiday collection kits, which will only be available for a limited time.
The Holiday Blues Kit contains a teal-hued mascara, Fractal Glitter Dust, and the Shadowstick in a teal shade that all comes packaged in a holographic blue cosmetic case.

“Color represents emotions; for me the introduction of an electrifying, monochromatic teal set is about confidence, possibility and an explosive array of emotions and moods that the holiday season can bring,” Halsey, about-face founder, head makeup artist, and chief creative officer said. “We also love that the shade is non-traditional for the season—ultimately there are no rules.”
On the other hand, the Halsey’s Favorites Kit features the Matte Fluid Eye Paint in the deep wine shade of Vintage Granada, the Shadowstick in matte black, Paint-It Matte Lip Color in little little and color matched Matte Fix Lip Pencil in last goodnight, and the Light Lock Highlight Fluid in shaken or stirred, which all comes in a holographic pink bag.
“In contrast to the bold and out there Holiday Blues Kit, I also wanted to offer something for the everyday makeup enthusiast, a super wearable kit with all of our best sellers — the products that live in the bottom of every one of my bags, that I don't leave home without,” Halsey said. “My Favorites Kit can be used to create soft glam everyday looks, or any one of the products can also be used to add drama and definition to a bolder look.”
