    KINGSTON, R.I. –  The University of Rhode Island on Tuesday elected former CVS Health chairman and CEO Tom Ryan as chairman of the University of Rhode Island Foundation Board of Directors. Ryan was elected to the volunteer post at the Foundation’s Board of Director’s meeting held Sept. 22.

    ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy announced Tuesday that it had received accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) with a distinction in oncology. 
     
    The distinction recognizes BioPlus’s abilities to deliver medications for cancer-specific conditions, identifying the toxic nature of the medications and collaborating with the physician and patient for best outcomes while containing costs.

That was the result of Reader's Digest second annual Trusted Brand Survey, which identified CVS Health as America's most-trusted drug store, Walmart as America's most-trusted mass merchandiser and Pharmavite's Nature Made brand as America's most-trusted nutritional supplement.

  • SNL alumnus Seth Meyers to headline NACDS Foundation Dinner

    ARLINGTON, Va. – Emmy-award-winning writer and Saturday Night Live alumnus Seth Meyers will headline the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation Dinner, which will be held on December 1, 2016, in New York, the association announced Wednesday.

    Meyers currently hosts "Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC." The New York Times recently referred to Meyers as the “smartest talk show host” of his generation.
