  • Fit to Go single-serve cottage cheese hits market

    FRIENDSHIP, N.Y. — Friendship Dairy has introduced a new line of single-serve cottage cheese.

    New Fit to Go products are available in 4% California style, 1% low fat and 1% low fat with pineapple varieties and are packaged in 5-oz. tubs, the company said.

    Friendship's Fit to Go line will make its way to store shelves in the New York tri-state area this month with expanded distribution to follow.

  • After 4-month split, M&M's spokescandies reunite

    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — After announcing that its M&M's spokescandies went their separate ways, Mars Chocolate said that they are back together.

    M&M's enlisted the help of consumers to reunite the chocolate icons, which include Yellow, Red, Blue, Orange and Ms. Green, through its "Reunite M" promotion. Consumers were awarded prizes valued at more than $1.5 million, including $100,000 to one individual, when they purchased select packages of M&M's brand chocolate candies and looking for all five characters under the wrapper.

    CHICAGO — Quaker Oats has teamed up with digital startup company Zazu to launch the Zazu Mornings mobile application.

  • Duracell teams up with wireless charger company Powermat

    BETHEL, Conn., and NEW YORK — Procter & Gamble's Duracell brand announced a joint venture with wireless charger company Powermat.

    As part of the strategic alliance between Duracell and Powermat, the companies will deliver best-in-class wireless power solutions. Additionally, P&G also expects to make an equity investment in Powermat.

    The joint venture is expected to commence next year, the companies said.

  • Bartell upgrades photo developing to Kodak APEX

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Seattle-based regional retail pharmacy Bartell Drugs has replaced its in-store photo processing lab systems with Kodak Adaptive Picture Exchange, Kodak said.

    The upgrade converts Bartell's processing lab systems from silver halide "wet lab" technology to APEX thermal dry labs.
