    HAYWARD, Calif. CoverMate's stretch-to-fit food cover line now features sustainable packaging made from recyclable plastic.

    The new stand-up pouch for CoverMate's variety pack reduces packaging source materials by 75%, CoverMate said. The pack contains a selection of stretch-to-fit food covers in four sizes, ideal for covering everything in the kitchen from small cans and food storage containers, to casserole dishes and large party platters.

    Otria Greek yogurt veggie dip, available for a suggested retail price of $3.49, comes in five flavors: garden herb ranch, salsa cilantro, chipotle cheese, cucumber dill feta and spinach artichoke.

    PLANO, Texas After launching eco-friendly bags for its SunChips brand, Frito-Lay again is looking to revamp the packaging.

    According to a report by USA Today, Frito-Lay said it is removing the noisy material found in the compostable bags. While they are environmentally friendly, the bags have received negative customer feedback.
