EmBeba is keeping an eye out for skin hydration with its latest launch.

New from the Boston-based company is the Rescue Balm, a skin care product designed to soothe and protect the skin from common issues and harsh weather conditions.

Designed to be used as a moisturizer for the skin or for chapped lips and noses, the balm leverages the formulation of EmBeba’s children’s balm to combat dryness, rashes and more, the company said.

“We are thrilled to launch Rescue Balm, the adult version of our award-winning children's balm,” Thai-Anh Hoang, founder of EmBeba said. “We received an outpouring of positive feedback on our first product and many parents reported they were using the balm to help with their own skincare issues, so we knew we had to create a product just for them. Rescue Balm uses the same clean, effective ingredients, but with a more highly concentrated formula for added strength and in a size that’s perfect for a bag or pocket.”

Made with a blend of natural and multifunctional ingredients, that includes beeswax, calendula, arnica flower, rosemary, peppermint, olive oil and eucalyptus, the Rescue Balm’s formula complies with EU standards and FDA regulations, the company said.

Like all other EmBeba products, the Rescue Balm also underwent microbial testing, dermatologist and pediatrician testing, allergy and sensitive skin tests, and a heavy metal and pesticide residue test.
