Essentia’s ionized alkaline water is going to be available in a larger format than before.
The Bothell, Wash.-based company announced the launch of its new 2 Gallon Box, which was developed to help meet the increased consumer demand for larger format options.

Made with recycled corrugate, each box is 100% recyclable and the inside uses 80% less plastic than eight 1-l. bottles by volume, the company said.
“This is an example of true product innovation in our category and our latest step in developing products that are both good for consumers and better for the planet,” Scott Miller, CEO of Essentia Water said. “Our 2 Gallon Box product innovation was led by extensive consumer research and a commitment to develop a larger format that would ensure the same overachieving taste of Essentia. This new multi-serve offering is made to fit more ways we live while also supporting a better environment.”

Each 2 Gallon Box contains Essentia’s ionized alkaline water with a pH of 9.5 or higher, and comes in a specially formulated bag with a spout that keeps air out, helping extend freshness and consumption over time, the company said.
Retailing for $16.99, the Essentia 2 Gallon Box will begin rolling out to CVS Pharmacy and Walmart shelves throughout September. The product will expand its distribution to additional locations in early 2022.
