Essie is inviting users of its products to express themselves with nail art through the launch of its new DIY design destination—nail art studio.

Through this initiative, the brand is showcasing two new technologies within its portfolio, jelly gloss and special effects, which are designed to help consumers achieve creative finishes and washes of colors, per the brand.

Special effects offers unique effects that come in nine finishes, including flaky pearls and satin chromes. Each formula fuses duo-chrome flips with holographic and light-reflecting finishes that can be worn over bare, layered or put over any nail color.

“The essie brand at its core has always encouraged self-expression and the notion of living life in color,” said Amy Whang, U.S. president of essie, Garnier and Maybelline New York. “The launch of Nail Art Studio brings us closer to not only fitting into the trends we love—but providing the tools and inspiration to set them. We are excited to see essie enthusiasts unleash their inner artists and elevate their nail game like never before.”
