  • Consumers encouraged to use Brillo, Estracell products during National Cleaning Week

    WALLED LAKE, Mich. — Brillo, the only brand of household cleaning products to feature Estracell, is emphasizing the use of its products during National Cleaning Week.

    Last year, Brillo and Estracell united to offer consumers more effective household cleaning solutions. Estracell's material helps create a more sanitary line of sponge products and offers a range of simple yet effective cleaning solutions to pick up dirt and rinse it away, according to Armaly Brands, the maker of Brillo and Estracell.

  • New and improved sun care collection arrives from Nature's Gate

    CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Nature's Gate said it is rolling out a new and improved sun care collection.

    Nature's Gate Classics Sun Care products now are oxybenzone-free, have a broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays and are free of synthetic fragrances — all sunscreens are fragrance-free, while the brand's sunless tanner is enhanced with a natural citrus scent.

  • Exclusive California wines now available at Fresh & Easy

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy is expanding its exclusive wine game.

    The retailer, which already offers a robust wine selection at each of its stores, said it is offering seven new, exclusive wine lines: I Heart CA, Wink, PCH, Cloud Valley, WineWrights, Barrel Ranch and Open Field. What's more, Fresh & Easy partnered with Terravant Wine Co. in the Santa Ynez Valley to create three of the new lines of wine: Cloud Valley, Barrel Ranch and Open Field.

  • Lottabody introduces products infused with carrot, keratin

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Lottabody has launched two new styling products that feature carrot oil and keratin.

    New Lottabody introduced its professional concentrated setting lotion with carrot and keratin, and its foam wrap with carrot and keratin. The products are infused with carrot and keratin to instantly strengthen and protect against damage, the company said. Both products are available in 8-oz. and 32-oz. sizes.

  • Smucker's introduces new Snack'n Waffles

    ORRVILLE, Ohio — Smucker's has introduced an on-the-go, heat-and-eat breakfast treat.

    New Smucker's Snack'n Waffles are microwavable waffles that are ready to eat after 15 seconds in the microwave, and already have sweetness baked right in. The waffles are available in blueberry, maple, cinnamon and chocolate chip.

  • Freeman Beauty expands Bare Hands, Bare Foot lines

    LOS ANGELES — Freeman Beauty is strengthening its portfolio with two new products.

    New to Freeman Beauty's lineup are Bare Hands lavender and mint nourishing hand and cuticle cream, and Bare Foot lavender and mint healing foot cream.

    The new hand and cuticle cream is packed with vitamins, grape seed extract and shea butter that moisturizes and rejuvenates dry skin.

    The healing foot cream is a luscious foot cream that not only hydrates and softens dry skin, but also improves skin tone and elasticity for complete renewal, according to the company.

  • Benlysta approved as lupus treatment

    SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Food and Drug Administration has approved a treatment for lupus made by GlaxoSmithKline and Human Genome Sciences, the agency said Wednesday.

    The FDA approved Benlysta (belimumab), a treatment for systemic lupus erythematosus, the first new treatment for the autoimmune disease in 56 years.
