    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Mars Chocolate last week announced the introduction of the M-Ball, a peanut M&M's-shaped twist on the traditional soccer ball. The vibrant ball started making the rounds in the United States on April 15, and it comes at a time when soccer fandom is reaching an all-time high, the company said.

  • PepsiCo adds twisted new addition

    PLANO, Texas — PepsiCo on Tuesday announced the debut of new Twistos Baked Snack Bites to its portfolio. The bites are available in three flavors — bruschetta, parmesan and garlic, and asiago flavors — and can be enjoyed as a standalone snackng item, or as complement to a soup or salad, the company said.

    The brand has teamed up with chef and food writer Gaby Dalkin of "What's Gaby Cooking" to help develop tips for mixing up snack time.

  • Pfizer’s new Robitussin capsules bring cough relief on the go

    MADISON, N.J. — Pfizer recently launched Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough + Congestion DM, a new liquid-filled capsule that helps control cough on the go. The new capsule formulation contains 10 mg of dextromethorphan as a cough suppressant and 200 mg of guaifenesin as an expectorant. For adults and children older than 12 years, the new formulation will help temporarily relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, and help loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes.

  • FDA approves ofatumumab/chlorambucil combo treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia

    LONDON — GlaxoSmithKline and Genmab A/S announced last week that the Food and Drug Administration has approved a supplemental biologic license application for the use of Arzerra (ofatumumab) in combination with chlorambucil for the treatment of previously untreated patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia for whom fludarabine-based therapy is considered inappropriate.
