  • Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto adds gelato pops to lineup

    MINNEAPOLIS — Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto announced today its expansion into the novelty category with the launch of Talenti Gelato Pops. The new product began rolling out to retailers nationwide in May 2013.

    The new line of Talenti Gelato Pops will feature eight of Talenti's best-selling gelato flavors all dipped in dark chocolate. Talenti Gelato Pops will be sold in a three-bar pack and will display Talenti's new logo and branding. Each pack will contain three 3-oz. individually wrapped gelato pops on a stick.

  • Goldfish crackers makes a splash at mealtime with new mac and cheese

    NORWALK, Conn. — Pepperidge Farms, makers of the cheese-flavored Goldfish crackers, announced today a new line of macaroni and cheese products based on the Goldfish brand will hit store shelves next week.

    New Goldfish Mac & Cheese will be available in four varieties: cheddar, nacho cheese, cheesy pizza and butter parmesan. Goldfish Mac & Cheese is made with real cheese sauce and has no artificial preservatives.

    PHOENIX — Jamba Juice Co., in collaboration with specialty food manufacturer Inventure Foods, Inc., announced today a new addition to its line of at-home smoothie mixes with Green Fusion, a blend of fruits and vegetables that offers a dose of vitamins and antioxidants.

  • Organic Oscar expands to Target

    SAN DIEGO — A maker of bathing products for pets has expanded its line to Target stores around the country.

    Organic Oscar said its line of pet shampoo had hit Target's shelves this month, marking its biggest expansion since the company's official launch in 2011. The company was founded in 2007. The shampoo, which is natural and biodegradable, is available for $9.99 per bottle.

    SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B and Whataburger introduced today Whatafries, a french fry that is cut from real potatoes and can be heated or eaten straight out of the bag.

  • Three new Takeda diabetes drugs become available

    DEERFIELD, Ill. — Three new drugs for Type 2 diabetes made by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. have become available in pharmacies, the company said.

    The drug maker announced the availability of Nesina (alogliptin), Kazano (alogliptin; metformin hydrochloride) and Oseni (alogliptin; pioglitazone).
