  • UrgentRx partners with Broncos to kick up awareness

    DENVER — UrgentRx, developer of fast-acting over-the-counter flavored powder medications, has established a partnership with the Denver Broncos to raise awareness and educate fans about the company’s convenient, single-dose fast powders.

    Through the partnership, UrgentRx will distribute samples of its Headache Relief to Go and Heartburn Relief to Go products at tailgating events before Denver Broncos home games through Oct. 28. 

  • 3M introduces Filtrete water filtration products

    ST. PAUL, Minn. — 3M has expanded its Filtrete brand to include new water filtration products.

    3M said Filtrete — which initially carried air filtration products for heating and cooling systems — now touts a water filtration products line that includes four different filtration levels and three types of installed systems, so homeowners can customize their selections based on their water filtration needs.

  • MOM Brands augments Three Sisters cereal line

    MINNEAPOLIS — MOM Brands has boosted its Three Sisters cereal line with the addition of two new varieties.

    Free of artificial flavors or preservatives, saturated fat, trans fat or cholesterol, the new multigrain berry and multigrain cinnamon varieties are made with whole grain oats, whole grain barley and whole grain triticale (a cross between wheat and rye with higher levels of essential amino acids), boasting 43 g of whole grains per serving. What's more, both flavors also carry the 100% whole grains stamp from the Whole Grains Council, the company said.

  • Fever-Tree adds two flavors to mixers portfolio

    SAN RAMON, Calif. — Fever-Tree has expanded its lineup of premium mixers.

    Naturally light ginger beer and sparkling lemon join the brand's portfolio, which currently includes such flavors as Indian tonic water, naturally light tonic Water, Mediterranean tonic water, club soda, bitter lemon, ginger ale and ginger beer.

  • Mylan launches drug reference for mobile devices

    PITTSBURGH — Mylan has launched an application version of the reference guide to its drugs, the generic drug maker said Thursday.

    The company announced what it called the first ever app of its Generic Brand Reference Guide, a free reference for healthcare professionals, patients and pharmacy students that enables the fast identification of brand and generic drugs. The 2012 print edition of the GBR was made available in a pocket-sized format earlier this year.

  • Snickers adds NFL Minis to roster

    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Mars Chocolate North America is ready for some football.

    The chocolate maker said it has launched its Snickers limited-edition NFL Minis, a 40-oz. pack of Snickers Minis that are adorned with wrappers featuring all 32 National Football League team logos.
