Users of Nutrafol’s hair wellness products now have something new to add to their routines.

The brand announced the launch of not one, but two new innovations — Stress Adaptogen MD and Hairbiotic MD.

Created to address stress and microbiome health as the root causes of thinning hair, the new products are physician-strength professional-strength booster supplements, the company said

“At Nutrafol, we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of the specific biological pathways that impact hair thinning — like stress and the gut microbiome,” Sophia Kogan, Nutrafol co-founder and chief medical advisor said. “As part of our research and development process, we also prioritize the feedback of our vast network of physician partners and the needs of their patients, so that we can provide them with effective, leading-edge products. These professional-strength boosters are a result of both our research and those conversations, and were proud to have the ability to produce products that provide real, effective solutions for people.”

The Stress Adaptogen MD Booster was formulated to complement its hair growth supplements by providing extra support to the body’s response to stress and its ability to manage it. Featuring a medical-grade blend of four adaptogenic photoactives, the booster addresses stress’s effects on hair thinning and also works to lower elevated cortisol while also strengthening the immune system, the company said.

On the other hand, the Hairbiotic MD Booster is a hair-focused probiotic that was designed to be taken with its hair growth supplements, and also works to support the gut-hair axis while improving nutrient absorption. Containing a prebiotic and 25 billion CFUs per capsule, the product also aims to work in the gastrointestinal tract to reduce bad bacteria, and both strengthen and protect the gut lining.

Both Nutrafol booster supplements are available to shoppers exclusively through their physicians.
