Schick is going environmentally friendly.
The personal care brand is launching a disposable razor made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
Xtreme 3 Eco Glide is a fully recyclable razor with recyclable packaging that is lightweight, portable and affordable.
Created after recognizing that some change needed to be made, considering more than two billion razors wind up in landfills each year, the brand is rolling out this new launch to deliver on Edgewell’s sustainable care report to reduce plastic waste across the category, the company said.
Featuring three blades that pivot and flex during the shaving process, the Xtreme 3 Eco Glide razor contains strips that have been infused with vitamin E to soothe sensitive skin, as well as with lubricants to enhance razor glide and protect skin against nicks and irritation.
Retailing for $8.29, Schick’s Xtreme 3 Eco Glide Razor is available online at Schick.com, as well as at CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens locations.
