Sunboy is ready to transform the ready-to-drink cocktail space with its line of spiked coconut water.
Made with real tropical fruit and coconut water, the beverages offer consumers the fun and flavor of a beachside coconut cocktail in the convenience of a go-anywhere can, the company said.
Launched in 2014 by co-founders Luke McKenna and Yair Tygiel, the brand originated as a bicycle-powered coconut cart that began throwing joyous tropical parties in the streets of New York City.

Produced by custom coconut company CoCo & Co., the brand said that it worked to find the best-tasting coconut water, and for its cocktails found a preference toward coconut water from Thailand and the Philippines as they have a lighter flavor that allows its fruit ingredients to shine.
Featuring an ABV of 5%, Sunboy beverages are currently available in passion fruit, pineapple and tangerine flavors, which are sweetened with real juice, do not contain added sugar or artificial flavorings, and are gluten-free, the brand said.
The passion fruit flavor features naturally tart juice that cuts through the sweetness of coconut, pineapple has a not too sweet flavor and subtle tart notes, and tangerine contains zesty fruit mixes with a light nuttiness of coconut water.

Consumers can find the beverages in a pack of four at select stores across New York, including Whole Foods Market. It also is available for delivery to 33 states, the brand said.
