  • Save-A-Lot arrives in Atlantic City

    ST. LOUIS — Supervalu is bringing its Save-A-Lot banner to Atlantic City, N.J.

    The store, which opened Thursday, will become the first full-service grocery store within a 21-mile radius of the city, the company said. The Atlantic City location is the 11th Save-A-Lot store in New Jersey.

  • Target Clinic to open locations in Virginia, North Carolina

    MINNEAPOLIS — Target has announced its plans to open new Target Clinic locations at four Target stores in northern Virginia and four Target stores in North Carolina, marking the first Target Clinics to open in these states.

    The new clinics currently are under construction and will open on July 29.

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark has aggressively set its sights on enhancing medication adherence, and the initiatives are paying off as the company estimates that its PBM clients saved nearly $2.4 billion in 2011 because of improved medication adherence for chronic conditions, according to findings of its annual Insights Report.

    The report, released on Wednesday, reviews drug trend and highlights key issues in pharmacy care. 

  • 2012 CVS Caremark Charity Classic to kick off next month with new format

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark, along with CVS Charity Classic co-hosts Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade, unveiled on Monday the field for the Charity Classic's 14th anniversary edition.

    This year, the annual golf tournament is scheduled for June 17 to 19 at the Rhode Island Country Club and will benefit numerous regional charities. It once again will draw a roster of elite PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour professionals. Making her inaugural appearance this year is Yani Tseng, who has held the top spot in the LPGA for more than one year.
