Urban Hydration caters to body, hair and skin concerns

Urban Hydration, a natural and clean beauty brand, unveiled its offerings of spa and travel-inspired bath, body and hair care products.

Containing natural ingredients, the line was founded by Psyche and Vontoba Terry, who wanted to create innovative products that offer results no matter the texture of hair, the company said.

Carrying a range of lines within the hair, skin and body care categories, Urban Hydration uses fruit and plant-based, hand-picked ingredients that help tackle some of the top skin and hair care concerns.

Ingredients consumers can expect to find the company’s products include coconut oil, argan oil, lemon, vanilla and vitamin B.

Collections consumers can shop from include:

  • Honey Health & Repair, which is ideal for hair that suffers from frizz, dryness and breakage. It contains natural honey and vanilla bean extract to soothe and soften hair;
  • Bright & Balance Aloe Vera, which is for those with all skin types. It looks to help balance skin’s moisture without leaving behind a heavy or greasy feel;
  • Nourish & Rehydrate Castor Seed & Shea, which work for any skin type, and provide deep moisture while also aiming to protect the skin;
  • Body Lotion Collection, which contains a variety of natural ingredients that help detox the body, provides deep moisture and a healthy glow.

In addition, Urban Hydration products are free of parabens, silicones, phthalates, gluten and poly beads, and not tested on animals, the company said.

Other offerings from the brand, including its Avocado & Argan Oil HairCare, Jamaican Castor Oil HairCare, Whipped Clay Mud Masks, Hemp Collection, Fruit-Based Micellar Water and Rosehip Family can be found on the company’s website and at select Target, Sally Beauty, Walmart, JC Penney, CVS Pharmacy and H-E-B locations.
