CoverGirl is rolling out its new Clean Lip Color line of lipsticks in 24 shades.

Ranging from pink, nude, plum and red satin finishes, the lipsticks are made with minimal ingredients, and offer a creamy full coverage formula that fills, evens and smooths the appearance of lip lines. They also contain avocado and aloe butter to keep lips hydrated and do not contain animal by-products or carmine, the brand said.

Utilizing synthetic and naturally derived red pigments instead of insect-derived pigments to achieve its vivid shades, the lip products are designed to provide long-lasting color without smudging, bleeding, feathering or patchiness.

“As the leader in committed beauty, our goal is to offer high performance products that also inspire consumers to make choices that are better for us and our planet. That is why we challenged ourselves to formulate a new collection of lip products that would deliver rich, luscious color without using any animal by-products, specifically Carmine,” said Mary Santangelo, senior vice president of CoverGirl global marketing, at Coty. “This beautiful range of shades flatters all skin tones and provides bold, lasting color in an eye-catching package.  We say this is color truly made better.”

The Clean Lip Color collection is available everywhere CoverGirl products are sold.
