  • P&G updates Pampers Cruisers, announces special promotion with Target

    MINNEAPOLIS — Responding to customer feedback, Procter & Gamble announced that it has improved its Pampers Cruisers diaper line to include improved softness, a 20% longer absorbent patch and new "Sesame Street" designs.

    "We are really excited to offer these new and improved diapers," said Tricia Higgins for Pampers external relations. "We have listened to what parents really like about our diapers and responded by adding those features, such as the softness from Swaddlers, to our Cruisers diapers, which are available in sizes 3 and 4."

  • Helix BioMedix partners with Sk:n to launch anti-blemish products

    BOTHELL, Wash. — Helix BioMedix, a developer of bioactive peptides, has announced that three new anti-blemish products developed by the company have been launched by Sk:n, a U.K. skin health clinic.

  • NCR expands platform with POS acquisition

    DULUTH, Ga. — NCR Corp. announced that it will acquire Radiant Systems, a leading provider of multichannel point-of-sale and managed host service solutions to the hospitality and specialty retail markets, through a cash tender offer of $28 per Radiant Systems share.

    The equity purchase price of $1.2 billion has been approved by the boards of directors of each company. NCR and Radiant Systems currently anticipate the transaction will close during third quarter 2011, subject to regulatory approval.

  • Dakotacare implements RxEOB’s pharmacy prior authorization solution

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota’s largest physician-owned health plan has adopted prior authorization automation technology from RxEOB for use across its membership, RxEOB said.

    Dakotacare will use the company’s AutoAuthRx to allow clinical pharmacists to collaborate with providers and ensure each prescription is aligned with the member’s specific benefit design and the associated evidence-based guidelines.

  • P&G adds new recipes to IAMS Healthy Naturals line

    MASON, Ohio — P&G has expanded its IAMS pet food line with the addition of Sensitive Naturals and Simple and Natural recipes to its IAMS Healthy Naturals collection. IAMS Healthy Naturals was launched in 2007 and includes four recipes for dogs and three for cats.

    SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Moszkito on Tuesday announced that its collection of over-the-counter insoles, including the Archy Orthotic line, is available for purchase at Shoebuy.com.

    At a suggested retail price of $58, Archy Othotic will fit into high heels, boots and loafers. In black and tan Prima leather, they are lightweight, supportive and comfortable, the company stated. 

  • Upsher-Smith Labs launches topical medication for skin itching and inflammation

    MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Upsher-Smith Labs has launched a topical medication for itching and inflammation of the skin resulting from such conditions as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, the company said Monday.

    Upsher-Smith announced the launch of Trianex (triamcinolone acetonide) ointment, which the company described as a prescription topical corticosteroid that offers the feel of a cream and the strength of an ointment.

  • Stiefel introduces Revaleskin-branded anti-aging treatment

    RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Stiefel, a GlaxoSmithKline company, has expanded its Revaleskin family of products with its new Revaleskin Illuminesse Brightening Complex.
