  • Natrol introduces first new products since Aurobindo Pharma USA acquisition

    CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Natrol on Wednesday introduced three new products, including Natrol Skin, Hair & Nails, Natrol Biotin Plus and Natrol Extra Strength Turmeric. These represent the first product introductions since being under new ownership by Aurobindo Pharma USA. 
     
    The new products will be on store shelves in May at select retailers nationwide, such as Walgreens, Sprouts and other health food retailers.
     
  • PrescribeWellness expands pharmacy practice innovation team with new hire

    IRVINE, Calif. — PrescribeWellness on Tuesday announced a new addition to its pharmacy practice innovation team as it advances its delivery of clinical services to its national pharmacy network. Farah Madhat will be the company’s new director of clinical services, joining the company from OptumRx, where she directed that company’s pharmacy reimbursement/pharmacy audit division. 
     
  • McKesson, TriZetto to integrate ClaimsXten, QNXT systems

    NEWTON, Mass. and DENVER — McKesson Health Solutions and TriZetto announced Monday that they would be integrating TriZetto’s QNXT enterprise core administration system with McKesson’s ClaimsXten and Claims Xten Select claims auditing solutions. The collaboration is aimed at helping payers automate payment and medical policy while simplifying management of complex clinical and reimbursement rules.

  • Sparkling Ice delivers essence of flavors

    PRESTON, Wash. — Sparkling Ice has rolled out Sparkling Ice essence of sparkling water. The new collection is free of sweeteners, contains zero calories, has no artificial colors or preservatives, and delivers an “essence” of natural flavors. The new product line offers four SKUs: a non-flavored sparkling water and three lightly-flavored versions, featuring lemon lime, peach and tangerine. The new lightly-flavored Sparkling Ice collection will be available at Target stores nationwide beginning in May, and also in select Stop & Shop and Safeway stores.
