  • Aunt Jemima introduces new bite-size Lil' Griddles line

    PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Aunt Jemima Frozen Breakfast, a Pinnacle Foods brand, on Tuesday announced the new Lil' Griddles line of bite-sized frozen breakfast options.

    The new line comes in three varieties: Aunt Jemima Frozen Blueberry Mini pancakes, Aunt Jemima Frozen Original Mini pancakes and Aunt Jemima Frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks.

  • Morton Salt makes entry into Epsom salt category

    CHICAGO — Morton Salt on Thursday introduced a new line of Natural Epsom salt products, marking its first foray into the health and beauty category.

    "The Epsom salt category has seen sustained growth over the past few years, presenting an opportunity for Morton Salt to begin leveraging its ubiquitous brand equity with the health and beauty shopper," stated Carol Panozzo, VP consumer products sales and marketing at Morton Salt.

    Morton's new Epsom salt line includes four core products, which are unique in that they are made with natural magnesium sulfate.

The Reboost product line brings together four of the company’s cold, cough and flu products under a single brand that has been specifically designed to speak to the consumer in a retail environment.

    HYANNIS, Mass. — Snack maker Snyder Lance has introduced a new Cape Cod brand potato chip flavor to its reduced-fat line of chips: 40% Less Fat Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper.

    Cape Cod's 40% Less Fat Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper chips are made with real sea salt and a blend of peppercorns, including a slightly sweet white pepper.

  • Gerber introduces meals for toddlers

    FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Nestle's Gerber division has introduced a line of mix-and-match foods for toddlers, the company said Wednesday.

    Gerber Products Co. announced the introduction of Gerber Graduates 2+ Kid Selects, designed to offer toddlers ages 2 years and older a range of protein, vegetable and grain options in order to help them make nutritious choices and master skills like the use of a fork and spoon.

  • Nexafed gains distribution in Kerr Drug

    PALATINE, Ill. — Acura Pharmaceuticals on Tuesday announced that its next-generation pseudoephedrine with abuse-deterrent technology will now be stocked by North Carolina's Kerr Drug. 

    Nexafed is a 30 mg immediate-release pseudoephedrine product that combines effective nasal-congestion relief with a unique technology that disrupts the conversion of pseudoephedrine into methamphetamine, Acura noted. 

  • MOM Brands adds new ready-to-eat cereals

    MINNEAPOLIS — MOM Brands today announced new additions to its brand portfolio with Spooners ready-to-eat cereals. The cereals come packaged in stand-up gusseted bags, which sit on the shelf like a box, yet contain 75% less consumer packaging waste than comparably sized bag-in-box, ready-to-eat cereals.
