    The new line of Vidal Sassoon Pro Series hair tools offers innovative technology and was designed with precision so that women can easily achieve the look they want in order to project their best self. This line consists of a variety of styling tools that help protect color, smooth hair without frizz and add volume with shine.

  • Tostitos introduces new Artisan Recipes style chips

     PLANO, Texas — Tostitos, part of parent company Fritos-Lay North America, has introduced a new flavor of tortilla chip as part of its Artisan Recipes line: grilled red pepper and tomato salsa flavored tortilla chips.

    This is the fifth flavor in the Tostitos Artisan Recipes line from PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division, and the new chip draws inspiration from the layered flavors of a rich Mexican mole sauce.

  • FDA approves Genentech breast cancer drug

    SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Food and Drug Administration has approved a new treatment for late-stage breast cancer, the agency said Friday.

    The FDA announced the approval of Genentech's Kadcyla (ado-trastuzumab emtansine) for HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. HER2 is a protein involved in the growth of normal cells but found in increased amounts in some kinds of cancer cells, which contributes to cancer cell growth and survival. Genentech is the U.S. subsidiary of Swiss drug maker Roche.
