The grocery giant reported total company sales of $31.7 billion in the second quarter, compared to $30.5 billion for the same period the previous year.
Good Culture’s lactose-free cottage cheese and sour cream line include such ingredients as pasture-raised milk and live and active cultures, the company said.
The company said there would be no disruption to the current supply of the brands, and that it would be building national marketing campaigns around them to drive consumer awareness and sales.
