OPI enters press-on nail category

OPI is expanding its portfolio beyond its signature nail polishes by debuting OPI xPress/On.

The line of artificial nails can be applied like a gel-like salon manicure right at home.

Featuring 33 press-on gel-like salon manicures with 14 days of wear, the collection is launching with 15 of the brand’s iconic shades including Alpine Snow, Cajun Shrimp and Big Apple Red, among others.

In addition, the line also will have six salon-inspired effects that include holographic shimmers and a glazed finish, and 8 professional nail art designs that also feature several French manicure styles, the company said.

OPI xPress/On is vegan, contains no animal-derived ingredients, and both the nails and packaging are made with 94% and 100% post-consumer recycled materials, the company said.

Consumers can find OPI xPress/On sets in iconic shades that retail for $12.99, salon effects and longer lengths that retail for $13.99 and professional nail art designs for $15.99 exclusively online and in-store at Ulta Beauty.
