  • Huggies, Armed Services YMCA donate diapers to U.S. military families

    DALLAS — Huggies has donated 5 million of its Huggies Little Movers camo diapers to families of those who serve to protect our country, reaching every branch of the U.S. military.

    To support the donation, the Huggies brand is partnering with the Armed Services YMCA, a military nonprofit organization that makes military life easier with free programs and services to enlisted military and their families nationwide.

  • Mizco boosts portfolio with universal tablet accessories

    AVENEL, N.J. — Mizco has introduced a line of universal tablet accessories under the company’s DigiPower, iEssentials and Travelocity brands.

    • The iEssentials universal neoprene tablet cases are available in a zipper model and a sleeve model. The universal neoprene tablet zipper case features a zipper pocket for storage of cables and other accessories, while the universal neoprene tablet sleeve case features a fold-over closure, and is reversible. Both models are available in 7-in. and 10-in. sizes for $9.99 and $14.99, respectively;

  • 3M launches Filtrete odor reduction filter

    ST. PAUL, Minn. — 3M has rolled out a new product that's designed to remove odors found throughout one's home.

    The Filtrete odor reduction filter is designed to remove such odors as those from cooking, tobacco smoke, pets, mildew and cleaning chemicals — while also helping to improve the air quality in the home, 3M said.

    The Filtrete portfolio of products includes air filters, air purifiers and replacement filters, room air conditioner filters, under-sink water systems, a water station and water pitcher.

  • Energizer to launch new charging solutions

    NEW ORLEANS — Energizer showcased its new line of portable chargers earlier this month at the International CTIA Wireless Conference's MobileFocus event in New Orleans.

    The chargers, which are expected to roll out this year, feature sleek, ergonomic designs, along with blue LED charging and battery status indicators. The products on display were:

    • Energizer instant charger: Available for iPhone, iPod and micro USB devices, use AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries to increase the run time of smartphones;

  • Bartell Drugs launches summer food drive

    SEATTLE — Regional chain Bartell Drugs is partnering with a charity group to launch a food-collection program.

    The 58-store, Seattle-based chain announced a partnership with Food Lifeline to sponsor the Bartell's Community Food Drive to replenish local food banks over the summer. The program, scheduled to last from May 28 to June 10, is designed to help families that normally depend on free and reduced-price school meals and may struggle to provide healthy meals at home.
