K18 is entering the dry shampoo space with AirWash, which features its patented biotechnology—OdorBind.

AirWash, a non-aerosol dry shampoo, offers users clean hair without a white cast, starch buildup or heavy fragrances.

The brand’s OdorBind technology aims to change the way malodors are addressed in personal care products with its ability to recognize, suspend and eliminate odors with its smart-release technology that works for up to three days after one application, the company said.

“Launching K18 was all about bringing a biotech revolution to the beauty world—creating products that not only elevate daily beauty routines but also empower personal hair expression. Now, we’re thrilled to introduce AirWash, our latest innovation set to transform the traditional dry shampoo scene with our cutting-edge OdorBind biotechnology. It’s a game-changer for both our loyal followers and newcomers alike, promising a fresh take on hair care.” said Suveen Sahib, co-founder and CEO of K18.

In addition to utilizing OdorBind, the dry shampoo also works with translucent microbeads to sponge up oil without feeling gritty or leaving behind excess buildup or a white cast, and biotech-derived Mediterranean microalgae to promote scalp health and improve hair manageability, the brand stated.

K18’s new AirWash product is available for purchase online and will be available at Sephora beginning March 26 in a 4-fl-oz. size that retails for $48 and a 1.6-fl-oz. size for $24.
