  • EverlyWell jumps the ‘Shark’

    “Shark Tank,” the hit ABC television series, is paying off for EverlyWell, an at-home health testing company. EverlyWell founder and CEO Julia Cheek accepted a $1 million line of credit in exchange for 5% equity on the show that aired Sunday, Nov. 26. It is the largest valuation deal for a solo female entrepreneur in “Shark Tank” history.

  • In a first for Apple, FDA clears EKG device for Apple Watch

    Mountain View, Calif.-based AliveCor on Thursday announced FDA clearance of KardiaBand in the U.S., allowing Apple Watch users to discreetly capture their EKG anytime, anywhere in order to quickly detect normal sinus heart rhythms and atrial fibrillation, the most common heart arrhythmia.

    The first FDA-cleared medical device accessory for Apple Watch, KardiaBand can record an EKG in 30 seconds with just a touch of its integrated sensor. Results from the Kardia App are displayed on the face of Apple Watch.

  • Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey partners with Kellogg’s on limited-edition cereal

    Nintendo is entering the world of breakfast with the help of Kellogg’s. Together, the companies will be launching collectible Super Mario Odyssey box art and cereal. The limited-edition cereal will be of a mixed berry flavor and contain colorful power-up marshmallows. If that weren’t enough, each of the boxes also will function as an accessory to the amiibo – a wireless communications and storage device used with compatible figurines.

  • Chobani celebrates anniversary with repackaging and regional offerings

    To celebrate its 10th anniversary and commemorate national distribution which began in 2008, Chobani has unveiled a major brand evolution. The Norwich, N.Y.-based company has shifted its visual identity to a new wordmark, packaging design and a range of products that will be offered regionally.

    Palmer’s has developed two new products within its body forming products. The first-to-market Body Firming Sheet Mask and Anti-Oxidant Firming Lotion are part of the brand’s top-selling Coconut Oil Formula line created with certified organic extra virgin fair trade coconut oil.

The Melting Pout Metallics come in eight different, highly-pigmented shades, such as 24 Carat, Mic Drop, and Platinum Card. The company believes these new products will add a touch of glimmer to dramatic bold lips

  • Vaseline celebrates launch of new body butter with Viola Davis

    Vaseline has unveiled its latest product, the Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Smoothing Body Butter. Made with 100% pure cocoa and shea butter, this product contains four times more emollients than any other lotion, according to the company.
