  • L'Oréal Paris names inaugural hair colors of the year

    L'Oréal Paris is looking to 2018 and beyond by revealing the brand’s first ever Hair Colors of the Year. The New York-based company has named Rose Blonde and Smokey Grays as the inaugural shades, and in addition will launch two new products to help consumers achieve these looks from the very comfort of their homes.  

  • SinfulColors announces color cosmetics line, names Vanessa Hudgens global color collaborator

    SinfulColors is expanding to color cosmetics with a new 18-piece face and eye collection that can be previewed exclusively on Amazon on Nov.16. The New York-based beauty company also named actress and singer, Vanessa Hudgens as Global Color Collaborator. In this new role the "So You Think You Can Dance" judge will star in the brand’s beauty campaigns, help develop trend collections under the SinfulColors name and launch her first collection in 2018. 

  • Dynavax to introduce new hepatitis B vaccine

    BERKELEY, Calif. — Dynavax Technologies last week announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Heplisav-B for prevention of infection caused by all known subtypes of hepatitis B virus in adults age 18 years and older. Heplisav-B is the first new hepatitis B vaccine in the United States in more than 25 years and the only two-dose hepatitis B vaccine for adults.

  • Medi-Dose/EPS rolls out Steri-Tamp Tamper-Clear Syringe Seal

    To complement its growing lines of IV and tamper-evident products, Medi-Dose/EPS is adding Steri-Tamp Tamper-Clear Syringe Seal to its lines of IV and tamper-evident products.  

    Officials at the Ivyland, Pa.-based company say that the Tamper-Clear Syringe Seal provides a tamper-evident seal with clear visibility of syringe graduations. They say that it is easily applied over the syringe cap and maintains the integrity of the medication and packaging--even when refrigerated. Once removed, the seal cannot be reapplied and removing the syringe cap destroys the seal.

  • MAC Cosmetics launches virtual try-on mirror powered by ModiFace

    TORONTO — MAC Cosmetics is leaping into the future with ModiFace. The company has announced the launch of a new Augmented Reality try-on mirror, allowing a curated set of MAC shades and looks to be tried on by a user instantly. The mirror is powered by ModiFace’s facial and 3D video makeup rendering technology, which provides a full 3D video of realistic makeup looks under any lighting condition.

  • Nestlé gets into the holiday spirit with limited-edition candy

    GLENDALE, Calif. — Nestlé is fully embracing the holiday season ahead by releasing limited-edition varities of its most popular products. Using flavors inspired by this time of year along with fun shapes and packaging, the company is certain these products will be the perfect stocking stuffers. The lineup will feature ready to bake mixes and candy from the popular Butterfinger, Gobstopper, Original Spree, Nestlé Crunch and SweeTARTS brands.
