    In 2016, Dial’s coconut water body wash won Allure’s Best of Beauty Best Steals award, its advanced bar soap won Family Circle’s Best Beauty Buy for bar soap and its advanced bar soap was among People StyleWatch’s best new beauty products under $25 and “things you never knew you needed.

    TEMPE, Ariz. —  21st Century HealthCare last month launched a new line of protein powders under the brand umbrella ReNourish. The protein powders, offered in both Wellness and Sport formulas, are gluten-free with no aspartame or added soy, the company stated. 

  • Sterilis introduces new method of handling regulated medical waste

    BOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Sterilis unveiled an alternative to the decades-old method of hauling regulated medical waste by truck to be incinerated.

    According to the company, the device uses steam sterilization and grinding technology to transform medical waste into a harmless confetti-like material, which can be disposed of in the general waste stream. Health clinics are among those who could have a demand for the product, the company added.

  • Malibu to move beyond rum with beer launch

    STAMFORD, Conn. — Malibu, the brand best known for its flavored rum, is looking to break into the beer space later this year. The company said Malibu Beer would be launching in select cities starting May 1, imported to the United States by US Beverage under exclusive licensing.

  • World’s oldest brewery intros beer based on 1950s label

    MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan is bringing a blast from the past to the beer aisle this month with the release of its limited-release Kristallweizenbock.

    The 7.5%-alcohol-by-volume weizenbock is inspired by an old label from the 1950s found in the vault of Weihenstephan — which is the world’s oldest brewery, operating since 1040.

    WARREN, N.J. — GSK Consumer Healthcare’s ProNamel line of products has a new addition with ProNamel Strong and Bright. The toothpaste uses an optimized fluoride formulation that works to actively strengthen and protect acid-weakened enamel, the company said.

    WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Sports nutrition company CytoSport has introduced the latest addition to its Muscle Milk protein product portfolio. The company is launching Muscle Milk protein bars in 12 flavors, each of which contain 15-20 g of protein.
