  • TheraPearl to debut at Target

    COLUMBIA, Md. — TheraPearl, a creator of therapy products, announced that its line of hot and cold pearl-filled packs will soon be available in Target stores across the country.

    The company's Back Wrap and Sports Pack are already available at Target.com and will make their brick-and-mortar debut in the First Aid section on April 19. While TheraPearl's products have been available in Target Canada since last year, this announcement marks the first appearance of its products in Target's U.S. stores.

  • Air Wick announces park-inspired scents

    PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Air Wick's partnership with the National Park Foundation continues with the return of the limited-edition spring collection, which celebrates the nation's parks.

    The collection's four limited-edition scents inspired by celebrate parks like the Channel Islands, Yosemite, Biscayne and Gulf Islands. The scents were crafted by fragrance experts who spent time creating notes that were representative of the fruits and plants found in America's national parks.

  • Yankee Candle adds a touch of summer

    SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. — The Yankee Candle Co. announced the launch of four summer-inspired fragrances, which feature notes of fruit and coconut. Consumers can choose from Margarita Time, Coconut and Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon Vanilla and Sea Coral.

    The company also announced the limited-edition Fiesta Collection, which features three vivid colors and fruit fragrances. The collection is comprised of Pineapple and Red Berry Sangria, Caramelized Sugar and Coconut Lime.

  • New e-commerce site caters to U.S. Hispanic women, helps orphans in Latin America

    HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — SanaSana.com, which is positioned as the first consumer goods online retailer catering to U.S. Hispanic women, has launched to help the estimated 10.2 million orphaned children in Latin America.

    As the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population, the Hispanic market's buying power is estimated to reach $1.5 trillion by 2015.

  • Mars set to buy portion of P&G's pet food business

    MCLEAN, Va. and CINCINNATI — Mars and Procter & Gamble announced that Mars has agreed to buy the Iams, Eukanuba and Natura brands for $2.9 billion in cash. The purchase is part of a strategic move for Mars to complement its burgeoning global petcare business. The companies expect to complete the transaction in the second half of 2014.

  • Military retailer Exchange conducts in-house product quality testing

    DALLAS – In the Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s Quality Assurance testing facility, it is not uncommon to see a flicker of light through the blinds or to experience the faint smell of burning plastic seeping up from under the closed doors.

  • AmazonFresh launches new tool to revolutionize shopping list generation

    SEATTLE — AmazonFresh recently launched a new tool called the Amazon Dash that allows users to scan items or speak the items aloud as part of a new way to shop for groceries without having to go into the store or shop online. 

    "Every member of the family can use Dash to easily add items to your AmazonFresh shopping list," AmazonFresh announced. "Keep it on your kitchen counter or hang it on the refrigerator. Did your kids just eat the last of the cereal? Conveniently refill and restock your home's everyday essentials, and have fun doing it."

  • CandyRific releases new Marvel-themed items

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. — CandyRific, a supplier of candy and novely products that utilize popular licensed brands, has expanded its license with Warner Bros. to create two novelty items — Marvel Avengers Shield Candy Fan and Marvel Avengers Light & Sound Hammer.
